The County of Kauai chose the SENTECH Hawai`i Team to draft the plan. The Team is made up of three entities:
Sentech Hawai`i, LLC: The project lead and prime contractor, is backed up by 120+ sustainable energy experts and is prepared to consider the business, economic, policy, technical, marketplace, and environmental aspects that play a role in shaping Kauai’s energy plan.
Kauai Planning and Action Alliance: A non-profit organization that acts as a neutral facilitator working with various community and stakeholder organizations to assist in developing solutions to Kaua`i’s priority issues.
Maurice Kaya, LLC: The former Energy Director and Chief Technology Officer for the State of Hawai`i, acting as the Senior Advisor for the Team.
