JUNE 21, 2016 ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

With about 90% of our food imported, there has been plenty of talk about how we can become more self-reliant and encourage more action.  Farming is hard work, and the discussion focused on some of the policies and programs that would add support for our local food producers.

The gathering also bid aloha to Diane Zachary, who is retiring on June 30 and to welcome Marion Paul, who will take over as KPAA’s President & CEO on July 1. Marion coordinates the Keiki to Career program.
