Public Involvement

During the process of drafting the Plan, the Kaua`i community and stakeholders provided input for the plan in a number of ways:

  • Stakeholder and community meetings. Thank you to all who participated in the meetings held in April and May 2009. All presentations and notes are available here.
  • The Draft Plan was made available for public comments on January 4, 2010. Feedback was encouraged and considered for the final report through February 16th.
  • A Public Meeting held January 7, 2010 at the War Memorial Convention Hall, Lihu`e.
  • KESP Blog. Click here to view and comment on the KESP blog.
  • Energy survey. Full survey results are now available by clicking here. (PDF, 2.2 MB)
  • Plan Revised. The Final KESP is now available on the KESP Homepage.
