The Community Gardens Project is sponsored by the Food and Agriculture Career Pathways Program at Kauai Community College . It is designed to provide training and technical support to individuals seeking to start a home garden and/or to groups planning to develop a community garden to serve their neighborhood. The goal is to increase Kauai ’s level of food self-sufficiency by using locally grown methods of production that are truly sustainable. Participation is open to any and all interested persons or organizations. Free assistance is provided in the planning, organization and operation of such gardens. Inquiries are invited. Call for details.
